More than two decades as a leading independent, international Montessori School
At 21 years old, the Oneness-Family School enters its young adulthood. In its first decade, the School was described as an “alternative” school – an alternative to other private schools and to public school environments. Rooted in the philosophy of Maria Montessori and other prescient educators, our School has blossomed over two decades. We recognize that the time has come. Our foundational principles are more important than ever – and the Oneness-Family School has a long history of happy, talented alumni to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach to education.
In July 2009, we concluded our celebration of 20 years of educating the whole child. Our year-long celebration in 2008-2009 including a series of extraordinary events – a party to celebrate with the children featuring 20 birthday cakes, more than 20 ambassadors from foreign lands joined our United Nations Day celebration, 20 fantastic prizes were raffled to benefit the School in the spring and our community kicked up our heels at a birthday gala with live music and special honors to our faculty and founder, Andrew Kutt. In the spirit of our global mission, our students, faculty and staff painted a beautiful mural as part of the International Art Miles Mural Project. The mural created by the School will be digitized by the Art Miles Mural Project team to make the "skin" that will cover a modular and mobile-framed pyramid. The pyramid will be unveiled in Egypt on the International Day of Peace, September 21, 2010 right next to the Great Pyramids of Giza. Our final event was one of the happiest times in our memory – our first-ever Alumni Reunion that brought our alumni and alumni faculty and staff together to celebrate, share and remember the wonderful times at the Oneness-Family School.
The Board of Trustees completed a 16-month strategic planning process in Spring 2010. The outputs of that process include:
- Vision 2020 – a vision for the Oneness-Family School in the year 2020 that includes an international Center for Peace Education and a beautiful green campus
- Vision 2015 – a look at the near-term future of the School, which includes space expansion to a nearby facility, curriculum enhancement, accreditation and growth in enrollment
- Detailed 5-year Strategic Plan

For more than twenty years, the school has placed a high value on relationships. Parents, students, teachers, friends of the School - every person passing through its doors remain a part of the School’s legacy. Likewise, the students who leave our school carry the vision and spirit forward.
Our alumni body is more than 500 students strong and growing. Learn more about our alumni by visiting our Facebook group.
We are more than the present. We are the past and the future as well.
