The Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is the most important fundraising activity of the year. The goal for our 22nd Anniversary Annual Fund campaign is $140,000 with 100% participation from our current families and expanded support from alumni families, grandparents, friends, OFS Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff.
The Annual Fund is crucial in helping to make the School's annual budget whole. As with other independent schools, tuition income at Oneness-Family School does not cover all of the expenses associated with running the School. We choose to keep tuition at a level that maintains affordability for a variety of families. Instead of raising costs for everyone, the Annual Fund allows families to voluntarily contribute toward the remaining cost as a tax-deductible gift. Your contribution helps pay for educational programs, resources, and many other things that enhance your child's day-to-day experience.
We encourage every family at OFS to make our school a priority for your charitable giving while your children are here, and to make the best gift you can. Every gift, of any size is appreciated and welcomed because of the statement it makes about the strength of our community's shared vision and commitment to the School. Strong participation in the Annual Fund also influences contributions from foundations and corporations.
Gifts may be presented in cash, by check, or through credit card payment, as a single payment or in installments. Many companies sponsor matching gift programs for their employees and retirees. Please check with your employers to find out if they would match or even multiply your donation.
We teach our children to value the act of giving. Through our own example, we can show how, when each person gives, we meet our goals as a community.

- Honor a student's birthday with a contribution in their name, to be acknowledged in the School e-newsletter, the Oneness Weekly
- Patronize local businesses on days when they will donate a portion of their proceeds to OFS. Scheduled events.
- Ask your employer to add to your Annual Fund gift by way of a matching grant
- Register with Safeway and Giant to have your grocery purchases support the School.

The Fourth Annual AppleFest was a huge success!
Oneness-Family community sold over 1,000 bags of apples and 500 gallons of cider raising just over $7,000 that contributes to the School's Annual Fund!
The AppleFest will continue to be a "core" element of fundraising at Oneness-Family School! If you would like to volunteer to help next year, we will be having a planning meeting in January 2011.
